Another world cup over. It’s been 3 months already since SA won – i can’t believe it. At least in europe we have the six nations starting today. I haven’t a clue who’s going to win, makes for some good neutral rugby watching.

We r da best there’s no stoppin da boks! We said it before the tournament began and delivered! World cups r won on defence! If u cant defend then u dont deserve it.. We were dark horses in all the matches, we may count ourselves a bit fortuios but after argentina won the 1st game the whole tournament was wide open! Ireland had a shocker! All the media was on france, all blacks & wallabies! No attention or distractions for boks which made it even easier 4us! Better luck next time boys! Though a tri nations win in new zealand next yr will put the icing on the cake! Sirlute

Congratulations to Jake, John and to the rest of the Springbok Team, for such an out standing tourement, YOU ARE TRUE CHAMPIONS, you made us proud. Well done to England, for getting to the final, when everone was ready to write them off in the pool stages.(including the Aussies) If you ask me the two top teams meet in the final. The IRB ranking does not mean a thing, if you can’t get pass the QUARTER-FINALS in the biggest rugby tourement in the world. The All Blacks were number one on the IRB ranking the longest, yet they flaked out in the quater-finals to a better team (well done Fance), just like the Aussies, and the number one IRB ranked team(prior to RWC final 2007) New Zealand haven’t won the RWC in 20years. Yes it is a shame we can’t beat the All Blacks…. again in a world cup final. GO SPINGBOKS WORLD CHAMPS…TWICE

And so start the sore loosers comments. If New Zealand or Australia werfe supposed to win why could they not beat the French and the English. The Springboks are the top team now and rightfully so.

Must be a bit hollow to know that South Africa had the luckiest world cup draw ever. Did have to beat any nation in the top 5 IRB rankings (England weren’t ranked in the top 5). Bit of a sad way to win. Maybe next time you might face some of the top teams and have a chance of winning properly.
