Published June 19th, 2007 in .After last weekend test match between the Springboks and the Wallabies, South Africa has fought its way to the second spot. The French moved down to third position leaving the Australians the number 4 spot. South Africa are just under ten points away from the All Blacks who still hold the number 1 IRB World Ranking.

The Tri Nations has reminded me in one game how exciting rugby is again. THe Super 14 was a joke here in New Zealand. The Rankings mean nothing when you consider the importance placed on the William Webb Ellis Trophy.
