Tomas O’Leary Irelands scrum half has been ruled out of the lions tour to South Africa due to injury.
He was stretchered off the field in the first half with a fractured ankle.
Munsters website released this statement on their web site about the incident “It goes without saying that we are very disappointed to lose a player of Tomas’s stature at this crucial stage of the season.”
Welshman Dwayne Peel, England’s Danny Care, Scotland captain Mike Blair and Stringer are the candidates to replace O’Leary in the Lions Squad.
