South African rugby fans were overjoyed about an all South African final between the Bulls and the Sharks in Durban.The Sharks dominated most of the game and went into half time leading 14 – 10. The Sharks scored a very late try in the second half making the score 19 – 13 which seemed to be the nail in the coffin for the Bulls. However the Sharks did not get their conversion attempt over.

The Bulls only option to win the game was a converted try.
In a dramatic finish Bryan Habana crossed over the Sharks try line and Derick Hougaard kicked over the conversion making the Bulls the Super 14 champs!
The fact that in a world cup year a South African team managed to win the Super 14 will surely boost the confidence of the Springbok Rugby Team.
