Tri Nations Time!

Well it is that time of year again where the Southern Hemisphere battles it out to see who is on top!
This year South Africa and Australia will kick things off in Cape Town next Saturday.

The Springboks will be without Bob Skinstad and the try scoring machine Bryan Habana. Skinstad has strained his shoulder which makes way for Pier Spies to show what he has. Bryan Habana has injured his knee and will be rested for the Tri nations series, Wynand Olivie will be his replacement. The number 9 jersey will be filled by Ruan Pienaar. Pienaar is an extremely exciting new player on the scene and i look forward to see how he plays this weekend.

The so called “Old Guard” combination of Gregan and Larkam will start the game on Saturday. Gregan, Mortlock and Larkham are the only players in the current team to have beaten a Bok team on their home soil. Gregan said that the Boks are in high spirits and will be hard to beat after there walk over test matches against England.

All in all we are looking at a really exciting test match ahead of us. We will finally be able to really see where both the Boks and the Aussies are in their RWC preparations.
