Australian wing Lota Tuqiri has been handed a 2 match suspension which counts him out for the rest of the Tri Nations tournament. After missing his medical appointment and midday recovery session at the Wallabies base in Sydney on the 2nd of July Tuqiri received a breathalyzer test.

Tuqiri’s blood-alcohol reading was at 0.05 which is higher than the Wallabies self-imposed limit. Mark Gerrard is set to be his replacement for the remainder of the Tri Nations.
